Optoma has introduced its latest top-tier 4K laser projector, the UHC70LV. It features 5,000-lumen brightness, a 3,200,000:1 contrast ratio and 4K UHD dual-laser tech. It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, with Optoma claiming it’s the first projector to hit the market featuring certifications for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode.
The UHC70LV projects up to 300 inches and offers a throw ratio of 1.2:1 to 1.92:1. Installation is easy courtesy of geometric correction. And, it has 1.6x zoom, vertical and horizontal lens shift, and 360-degree projection freedom, meaning you can position it just about anywhere.
For those who love to fine-tune their visuals, it’s calibration-ready with ISF Day and Night modes, plus an arsenal of customisation options, including 11-point RGB White Balance, CMS (Colour Management System), and RGB Gain/Bias controls.

At the heart of the UHC70LV is Optoma’s latest PureEngine Ultra processor, designed to refine HDR content with sharper details, smoother motion, and richer colours. Covering 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, it is said to deliver the kind of cinema-grade colour accuracy that film buffs crave.
Sound-wise, Dolby Atmos pass-through via eARC ensures multi-dimensional audio when paired with a soundbar or AVR, while 3D sound format support adds another layer of depth. It also features WiSA SoundSend Certification, making it compatible with WiSA SoundSend wireless audio transmitters.
