(March 12, 2019) – WiSA® LLC, the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association comprised of leading consumer electronics brands founded by Summit Wireless Technologies (NASDAQ: WISA), announces the certification of Klipsch® Reference Wireless speakers from Klipsch Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of VOXX International Corporation (NASDAQ: VOXX).
Available in June 2019, this exciting new line of Klipsch loudspeakers was awarded “Best of CES” from Digital Trends, AVS Forum, and Hi-Def Digest at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019. Klipsch’s new Reference Wireless speakers work flawlessly with any WiSA Certified and WiSA Ready* products, including the new 2019 WiSA Ready LG OLED and Nano Cell (Super UHD) TVs.
The Klipsch Reference Wireless line includes the RW-34C center channel speaker ($499 U.S. MSRP), the RW-51M front and rear monitors ($699/pair U.S. MSRP), and the RW-100SW wireless subwoofer ($499 U.S. MSRP). These speakers can be mixed and matched to create powerful audio systems in any configuration from stereo (2.0) to a big and bold 7.1 theater experience. The Reference Wireless speakers also work with any WiSA Certified or WiSA Ready source connected to a WiSA Certified USB Transmitter, such as the Axiim Link.

All WiSA Certified and WiSA Ready components work together seamlessly to deliver wireless, multi-channel audio and authentic movie theater sound that immerses the listener into the middle of movies and video, music, sports, gaming/esports and more. As a result, consumers can expect an audiophile experience, but unlike traditional audio systems, set up is simple and takes just minutes even for larger 5.1 and 7.1 setups. LG OLED and Nano Cell televisions simplify the setup process. After plugging Klipsch Reference Wireless speakers into power outlets, the TV will detect and setup the home theater directly from the WiSA Ready big screen and connected WiSA USB Transmitter.
