Job Description: As a Solutions Software Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions with customer hardware SoC/IoT systems.You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to provide valuable product feedback and serve as a liaison between customers and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the sales team, managing customer-specific projects that integrate our Express software on Android and future Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Integrate customer support software with our solutions.

·        Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software integration.

·        Collaborate closely with engineers to provide product feedback and improvements.

·        Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.

·        Develop, support, and demonstrate proof of concepts using our hardware development kits.

·        Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.

·        Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

·        Support customer visits and trade shows as requested.

·        Willing to travel internationally

Qualifications:

·        BS or MS (BS) degree in Computer Science,Software Engineering

·        Minimum 3 years of Software programming experience.

·        Proficiency in Android and Linux Operating systems and C-Programming.

·        Experience in software integration and customer support.

·        Ability to work collaboratively with engineering within an agile process.

·        Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

·        Excellent documentation skills.

 

 

Desired Qualifications:

·        Experience in consumer audio product design,especially in TV, mobile phone, or set-top box (STB) applications, including Dolby decode, is advantageous but not mandatory.

·        Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role.

·        Familiarity with programming hardware development kits and IoT/SoC devices.

·        Experience with I2C, SPI or other communication protocols

·        Experience with Wi-Fi products
